Cookies

A cookie is a small note a website leaves in your browser. When you arrive, Sunkiss Society asks one question and gives you two answers, OK and No. Whichever you choose is remembered in your own browser and never sent to us.

No

Only what the site needs in order to work, including the note recording your answer so you are not asked again. No map is loaded, and no other company is contacted on your behalf.

OK

The same, plus Google’s map on this page, which loads with the page and sets Google’s own cookies. Nothing else changes.

Until you answer, nothing beyond the essentials runs. Saying no is one press, exactly like saying yes, and there is no settings panel to work through or third option that quietly means yes.

What the site never does either way: there is no advertising and no analytics of any kind, nothing here counts you, follows you or profiles you, and the typefaces are served from this site rather than from Google.

The map

The map on the About page is Google’s. If you answered OK it loads with the page, and Google sees that you looked at it, the same as visiting Google Maps directly. If you answered No it is not loaded at all and the address is printed there instead, with a link you can follow if you want it.

Booking

Appointments are taken through Timely, a booking system built for salons and studios. The details you give while booking — your name, how to contact you, and the appointment itself — go to Timely so that Nicole can run your appointment. They are used to look after your booking and nothing else. Booking does not sign you up to marketing.

Please keep health or treatment information out of booking notes. Anything of that kind is discussed with Nicole in person at your appointment.
